Bradford Marine, Inc.

Bradford Marine, founded over 40 years ago, has grown into the world’s largest undercover yacht repair facility.   Several years ago, Bradford Marine formed a new subsidiary, The Shipyard Group, which provides the yachting community with technical and professional services.

Located at the Company's shipyard on Ft. Lauderdale’s Marina Mile, The Shipyard Group provides a wide array of services to yacht owners and their captains and crews, including yacht sales; yacht charter; naval architecture; project management; and more.

With over 180 skilled craftsmen, Bradford Marine’s shipyard in Ft. Lauderdale is full-service, including painting, lifting, mechanical, welding, fiberglass, carpentry, hydraulics, electrical, diesel, and purchasing.

In the late 1990’s, Bradford Marine opened a full-service shipyard in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.  Bradford Marine Bahamas' deepwater shipyard offers all of the services that can be found in the Ft. Lauderdale shipyard and uses a Travelift and 1,200-ton floating dry dock to haul out larger vessels.  Over 90 skilled craftsmen are on location.

Bradford Marine also recently expanded to include towing and salvage services in South Florida and the Bahamas, Bradford Marine Towing, and a new brokerage operation in Freeport, Bahamas Yacht & Ship Brokerage.  They also have a twin engine aircraft to facilitate better service and emergency response.
