Feadship - De Vries Scheepsbouw Makkum

First established in 1918, this yard on the IJsselmeer lake has produced an impressive fleet of yachts and fishing vessels over several decades. From 1980 onwards they started building luxury motoryachts.

August 2005 the yard became a part of Feadship.

It is used for building yachts up to 120 meters (394ft) in length, plus refits and maintenance on Feadships.

The giant 170-meter construction hall allows for simultaneous work on a large yacht in the dry dock and one or two other yachts on the shop floor.
